LOS ANGELES, CA – 15 May, 2017 – Founded by Mali Shajari, a Master Stylist known by the beauty community, her clients and students as the “Eyebrow Goddess”. Mali’s Studio Academy of Permanent Cosmetics has opened doors in Woodland Hills, hosting a grand opening event on March 16th. The event featured champagne, appetizers, and music by DJ Danno. Mali’s Academy is run in conjunction with the salon, Mali’s Studio, located in the neighboring unit at the same address.

Mali’s Academy is a full-service permanent cosmetics academy offering courses in permanent makeup, hair stroke eyebrows, scalp micropigmentation, master haircutting, scissor comb over, tattooing, and bob cutting. Training begins at the Woodland Hills academy of permanent cosmetics with in-depth education on equipment, tools for hand use, and color theory. “At Mali’s Academy, you will gain all of the tools you need to excel at your craft and grow your business. Our highly trained specialists will teach you the necessary techniques and assist you in procedures to ensure you have the practical experience you need to succeed,” says Mali. Both travel and lodging are offered and available for out-of-state students who wish to attend these permanent cosmetics courses.

Mali’s Studio opened doors in 2004, as an expansion of Mali’s Touch, Mali’s first location. The studio offers a wide range of services, including a full spectrum of haircuts, threading for face, lip, and eyebrow, color, highlights, Brazilian blowouts, Keratin straightening, extensions, updos, hair removal, tattooing, makeup, and permanent cosmetics.


Mali Shajari, Master Stylist, began her career as a hairstylist and eyebrow specialist, before quickly gaining a reputation as the “Eyebrow Goddess”. Since opening her first salon in 1994, she has become one of the most respected apprentice trainers in the beauty community.
